It was 8:30 of night on 22 nd December. I was in car on the way to my uncle’s house with my

family. We were going on a family tour next morning. We reached my uncle's house at 9:00PM.

My brother and Ialong with my cousin went to play badminton with some other friends of my

cousin. We went to bed at 12:30AM. I couldn't sleep the whole night out of excitement. Then, in

the morning we got ready. We started our journey to Sreemangal at 6:15AM.I was in another car

with my uncle, aunt and my cousin. There was a change of plan and we went to Madhabkundo

first. It was a journey of around 7 hours to Madhabkundo from Dhaka. We got our tickets and

went to the famous waterfall of Madhabkundo. It was so beautiful that we all were mesmerized

by its beauty. We took a lot of pictures there. There were some statues of different animals along

with a statue of a mermaid. After seeing the whole spot, we ate our lunch and headed for

Sreemangal. After 3 hours in the car, we finally reached our resort. We got refreshed and then

went out for dinner at PanshiRestaurent. After coming back, we went to bed.

The next day, we went to Shadapathor, Bholagonj, Sylhet. It was a 3–4-hour journey from

Sreemangal. After reaching there, we saw there was no speedboats left. So, we started to walk

there. It was forbidden to go by walking, but we had no other options. We reached the main spot

after 15-20 minutes. While going there we enjoyed the nice view of the Shilong Peak in

Meghalay, India. It was at the 0 point also known as “No Man’s Land” of Bangladesh. After

reaching there, I noticed there were less stones than before.Maybe they were wiped out by the

flood. Me and my cousin crossed the water and sat on a big stone. The water of Shadapathor is

clean and clear as crystal. While going back we went to another spot of the Shadapathor. We

took a lot of pictures there. We started back for our resort at 4:30PM. It was already night when

we reached. We ate BBQ and had falooda as desert on our last night. After reaching the resort, we

took bath and went to bed quickly since we all were so tired. It was the last night in Sreemangal.

Then came the last day of our tour. That day we went to visit some places around Sreemangal.

We woke up late since we were tired. We ate our breakfast and got ready.First, we went to

Nurjahan Tea Estate. We took some pictures there and enjoyed the beauty of the tea garden.

After that we went to Madhabpur Lake. It was a lake which was surrounded by a tea garden. It

was very beautiful. Our guide was Noni Shankar, a local informative person. He guided us the

way there and we learnt a lot of things about the lake. We took a lot of pictures of the lake and

the nature. We took some pictures of us. We could see the Tripura, a state of India, from there. It

shared borders Bangladesh, Mizoram and Assam. We saw another zero point of Bangladesh

there, but we couldn't go there since it was already late. Then we went to Lawachara National

Park. We took our tickets and went inside the park. It was more of a forest than a park. We

walked almost 4 kilometers. We lost our way but then we found the right path again. We went to

Khasia Tribe there. There was a huge lemon garden. We got some lemons from there and then

took some pictures in the lemon garden. There we met the caretaker of the lemon garden. His

name was Khan. He welcomed us warmly. After that we started our journey back to Dhaka. On

our way we searched for many restaurants for lunch, but nothing seemed special. At last, we

went to a restaurant for lunch since it was getting late. We ate our lunch and finally we started

our journey to Dhaka properly. On the way we changed our cars. My cousin got into the car with

his family, and I got into the car with my family. We separated our ways on our home. At last,

we got home. The Journey ended. We got back at home at 10:30PM, 25 th December.

I am thankful tomy uncle(mama) from the bottom of the heart for arranging this journey. It was

the best journey of my life. It was fun to be in the same car with him. I had a lot of fun. All of us

enjoyed. I am eagerly hoping for such more journey in the future. In Sha Allah,we will be able to

go to journeys together and explore more in the country and refreshing our memories.
