A total of 96 teachers of 19 Ebtedayi Madrasas in Monpura upazila of Bhola received PM's grant of Tk 4.8 lakh on Thursday.
Monpura Upazila Chairman Shelina Akhter Chowdhury distributed Tk 5,000 among each of the teachers at the Upazila Parishad hall room.
Among others former Awami League unit Secretary AKM Shahjahan Mia, teachers including Abdus Salam, a teacher leader of the independent Ebtedai Madrasa were present at the time.
