A mobile court in Kaliganj Bazar of the district fined nine business establishments Tk 21500 for irregularities.
Executive Magistrate Umme Hafsa Nadia, who is also Upazila Assistant Commissioner (land), led the drive conducted different places in Kaliganj municipality area.
The drive started on Sunday morning and continued till afternoon.
Apart from police and Ansar members, District Jute Development Officer Md Azharul Islam, Sub Inspector Mazedul Islam and Bench Assistant Mahbubul Islam
were present during the drive.
