8 Kanaighat expats die of Covid-19 in Saudi in 15 days

According to the family sources of the deceased, eight remittance fighters of Kanaighat upazila of Sylhet have died of heart attack and coronavirus in Saudi Arabia in the last 15 days. 

It is learned that mourning is going on in the families of these remittance fighters of Kanaighat upazila. In Jeddah and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, eight people have died in the past 15 days. Of these, 6 died of coronavirus and 2 of heart attack.

The deceased have been identified as Abul Kalam (40) of Dalikandi village in Dakkhin Banigram UP of Kanaighat Upazila, Matiur Rahman (50) of Agfaud Narainpur village in 8 number Jhingabari UP, Fakhrul Islam (48) of Parkul village in 9 number Rajaganj UP, Badrul Islam (45) of 6 number Sadar UP Birdal Chotofoud village, Abdur Rahman Chowdhury (55) of Darjimati village in 8 number Jhingabari UP, Abul Khair (46) of Dalaichar village in Kanaighat municipality, Abdul Kahir Babul, 30, of Charipara village in Satbank number 4 and Kawshar Ahmed (55) of Kalinagar village in 2 number Laxmi Prasad West UP. The bodies of some of them have been buried in Saudi Arabia.

Meanwhile, Kanaighat Upazila Prabasi Kalyan Oikya Parishad Saudi Arabia Central Committee President Waiz Ahmed and General Secretary Ershad Ahmed in a statement conveyed their deepest condolences to the bereaved families in Jeddah and Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
