A total of eight students of Islamic University (IU) in Kushtia have been selected for Prime Minister Gold Medal-2019 of the UGC for their outstanding academic results.
The students are- Jakariya of Dawah and Islamic Studies department, Jahidul Islam of Arabic Language and Literature department, Laboni Khatun of Law department, M Alomgir Hossain of Economics department to Social Science faculty, M Shabub Alom of Finance and Banking department From BBA faculty, Shahariar Morshed of Statistics department under Science faculty, ASM Imran Hossain Bhuiya of Information and Communication Engineering department from Engineering and Technology faculty and Mrs Naznin Akter of ANFT department from Biological Science faculty.
Mentioned, every year the University Grants Commission honours meritorious students with the PM gold medal from different public universities across the country.
