The ‘7th BIGTEX - Bangladesh International Garment & Textile Industry Exposition, drew a huge crowd on Friday, the weekly holiday.
The 2nd day of 3-day expo passed busy hours as a quite a good number of visitors and people involved in the sector turned up in view to experiencing the newer technologies, modern machineries showcased in different local and international pavilions in the fair.
RedCarpet Global Limited organising the BIGTEX expo, taking place at the International Convention City Bashundhara in Dhaka.
Talking to this Correspondent, Ahmed Imtiaz, CEO of Redcarpet expressed that they are organizing five international exhibitions simultaneously at the same place.
"The exhibitions are Garment & Textile Machinery, Printing, Packaging & Sign Machinery, Dyes & Chemicals and Fabric & Yarn Expo, and all hese exhibitions have already drew potential buyers as it showcases latest machineries, technologies, dyes/chemical, yarn & fabric available for Bangladesh on display with manufacturers/suppliers from the world available to our Industry at the doorstep", Imtiaz added.
Freedom Fighter, Engr. Mohammad Mozaffar Hossain MP inaugurated the exhibition as the chief guest which will continue until October 28.
A total of 160 stalls from 12 countries including Asia and Europe are participating in the expo.
