A total of 743 more people have tested positive for Coronavirus in all 10 districts of Khulna division on Thursday till 8.00am, climbing the number of infected patients to 1,24,270.
With six more death in last 24 hours, the total fatalities from the disease reaches to 3,220 including 817 in Khulna, followed by 794 in Kushtia, 521 in Jashore, 271 in Jhenidah, 189 Chuadanga, 183 in Meherpur 122 in Narail, 91 in Magura and 89 in Satkhira, said Morshed, Khulna divisional director of Health.
"Among the infected people, 1, 10,167 have, so far, been cured from the lethal virus with 108 new
recoveries found on Thursday morning,” said Dr Monjur, adding that a total of 18,857 infected patients are now undergoing treatment at different designated hospitals here.
Besides, all the positive cases for Covid-19 have, so far, been brought under necessary treatment while 1, 25,326 were kept in isolation units of different hospitals for institutional supervision.
