At least seven persons were killed and 19 others injured in-a-head-on collision between two buses in Sadar Upazila of Thakurgaon on Friday morning.
The accident took place at Khonchabari area on Panchagargh- Thakurgaon-Dinajpur highway at 8:00am.
The injured were admitted to Thakurgaon Zila Hospital. The hospital sources said the number of death toll may rise.
Local sources said a Thakurgaon bound bus of Dipjol Enterprise collided head-on with a Dinajpur bound bus of Nishat Paribahan, leaving seven people dead on the spot and 19 others injured.
