7 Covid-19-affected health workers return home after recovery

Seven persons, including a physician of Shailkupa Upazila Health Complex in Jhenaidah, were given reception when they returned home recovering from Coronavirus. The reception along with release letter was arranged at the health complex premises on Monday morning.

Civil Surgeon Dr. Salina Begum attended the event as chief guest. Upazila nirbahi officer (UNO) Saiful Islam, upazila health and family planning officer (UHFPO) Dr. Rashed Al Mamun, medical officer of the office of the civil surgeon, also corona affairs spokesman Dr. Prasenjit Biswas Partha, all the physicians, nurses, other staff of the health complex remain present during the reception giving hours.

The persons given reception were dental surgeon Dr. JM Khasru Al Mamun, statistician Bakhtiar Hossain, storekeeper Masud Rana, radiologist Abdus Shukur, Enamul Haque Tuhin, Jagadis Kumar and Sohel Rana, driver of upazila health and family planning officer (UHFPO) Dr. Rashed Al Mamun. Senior Medical officer Dr, Sazzad Rahimi conducted the reception programme and gave a brief over the havoc and its impact.

In her speech Civil Surgeon Dr. Salina Begum said Corona Virus is such a disease which is curable after some norms and general treatment. Nobody should be panicked for the disease and face the havoc with courage and patience in the respective family. 

The health department in Shailkupa is going to declare remaining five corona infected patients free from the infection within a few days. Civil Surgeon thanked Prime Minster Sheikh Hasina for her timely and effective interventions to combat the global havoc with firm courage.
