The 6th anniversary of the Dhaka University Band Society has been celebrated. On this occasion, University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Mo Akhtaruzzaman attended as the chief guest and inaugurated various programs of the foundation anniversary by blowing balloons and cutting cakes at the Student-Teacher Center on Friday, November 4, 2022.
Band Society President Enayet Hossain Manon presided over the event, organization moderator Professor Dr. Mahbubur Rahman, advisor Rezwan Habib Rafsan and Bangladesh Musical Bands Association (BAMBA) Vice President Sheikh Monirul Alam Tipu spoke.
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman congratulated all members of the organization on the occasion of the founding anniversary of Dhaka University Band Society and said that band music is a genre of culture where artists can sing songs with enthusiasm and a generous mind and fearless heart. The vice-chancellor urged the members of the society to play a role in building a free, humane and creative society by leading social and cultural movements through the creation and practice of excellent music.
