Whether the spreading of the virus is under control in a country depends on some indicators set by the World Health Organization. One of them is the patient identification rate. If the patient identification rate is below 5pc for more than two consecutive weeks, the situation is considered to be under control.

From the beginning to the end of February this year, the detection rate was below 3pc. Two months later, on March 10, the daily affected crossed a thousand people once again. Since then, daily cases have been increasing.

Public health experts believe that the situation is deteriorating in the second wave of corona infections in the country. As the affected increased, the government issued a 16-point directive on March 29 with some restrictions. One of them is the use of a mask when going out of the house. However, despite the alarming rise in infections, people are still reluctant to follow hygiene rules. Public health experts instruct that there is no substitute for hygiene, including wearing masks.
