Leaflets distribution programme started on Sunday moring in Nilphamari district for preventing coronavirus outbreak and to make the people aware about the disease. Nilphamari Zilla Parishad with the help of District Administration of Nilphamari arranged this leaflets distribution program with great importance.
At first, Nilphamari Zilla Parishod Chairman Joynal Abedin started distributing the leaflets from the premises of Zilla Parishod and continued it to the major points of the town. Among others DC of the Hafizur Rahman Chowdhuri, Police Super Muhammad Mokhlesur Rahman, Secretary of Zilla Parishod Joynul Abedin, Zilla Parishod Women Member Israt Jahan Pollobi, Zilla Parishod Members Ferdouse Parvez, Saidur Rahman Apollo, freedom fighters and the Imams of various Mosques of the district took part in distributing leaflets. The leaflets inscribed with how to spread coronavirus and its symptoms and preventive measures. A special munajat was also offered seeking the blessing of the Almighty Allah to save the countrymen from the COVID-19.
Zilla Parishod Chairman Joynal Abedin said, “Now we are passing a very terrible time. The outcome of Corona virus beggars description. Common people should have a clear-cut conception about it. They should be more careful. To develop their awareness, we have arranged this program.” As many as 65,000 leaflets would be distributed to the people of the district.
