Jhenaidah witnessed more 53 new patients with covid 19 positive. The number of total covid 19 infected toll to 1,128 till August 9 morning, said the corona spokesman of the office of the civil surgeon in Jhenidah Dr. Prasenjit Biswas Partha.
Dr. Partha said they received the test report of 128 persons of which 53 were tested positive from Kushtia laboratory on Sunday morning.
The number of infected is 39 in Jhenidah Sadar, seven in Kaliganj, three in Shailkupa and Moheshpur upazila each and one in Kotchandpur. Out of total infected 1,128 persons, 641 recovered from the pandemic.
21 persons infected with the global havoc are undergoing treatment at Jhenidah Covid 19 Hospital.
