61 Covid-19 patients identified in Ctg

In Chattogrom, 61 new corona patients were identified in three labs on Thursday. 51 residents are of the city. The remaining 10 are residents of Patiya, Rangunia, Banshkhali and Boalkhali in Chattogram district. The list of new identities includes 2 doctors, 2 policemen and 1 journalist.

Besides, 4 people have returned home after recovering in the last 24 hours. 1 person got out of isolation. 1 died while undergoing treatment. The total number of victims in Chattogram is 573. The death toll is 28. Corona recovering 93 people returned home.

District Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi confirmed the information on Thursday night.

He said the corona of 61 people from Chittagong district was identified in a sample of 394 people in three labs in Chittagong on Thursday. 

Besides, I Cox's Bazar Medical College lab sample of 30 people from Satkania in Chattogram, no corona was identified in the body.

A police constable named Naimul Haque (35) died at the General Hospital with symptoms of corona virus. He died at the hospital's ICU around noon on Friday said Dr Abdur Rob, a senior consultant at the general hospital.

He said a policeman was admitted to hospital on Thursday with symptoms of the corona virus died Friday afternoon.

Chittagong BITID 257 samples were tested on Thursday. Of these, 33 are positive.  In Chattogram district  29 are  positive. There are 26 in city and 3 in the upazila (Rangunia, Banshkhali and Boalkhali). Besides, there are 4 people in different districts.

Chittagong Veterinary University (CVASU) 17 positive. 6 people from Patiya. 11 corona from different districts have been identified.

66 samples were tested at Chittagong Medical College Hospital on Thursday. Of these, 26 are positive in Chittagong. Ctg city areas, 25 are positive and 1 in upazila.

On the other hand, 30 samples from Satkania-Lohagara in Chittagong were tested at Cox's Bazar Medical College Lab and all were found negative.
