5th South Asian Evaluation Conclave to be held on 13 Oct

The '5th South Asian Evaluation Conclave 2022' will be held on October 13 at Bisya Shahitya Kedro (World Literature Centre), Dhaka. In order to implement the Conclave, a preparatory meeting was held under the chairmanship of Bangladesh Evaluation Society (BES) President Nuruzzaman. 

The meeting was attended among others by Chief Advisor to BES and former Principal Secretary and Principal Coordinator (SDGs) Prime Minister's Office Md. Abul Kalam Azad, Former Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Maritime Cell) Rear Admiral (Rtd.) Khurshed Alam, former senior secretary of the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief Dr. Md. Shah Kamal, Research Director of BIDS, Dr Monzur Hossain, Director General of National Institute of Educational Management (NAEM) Dr. Nizamul Karim, Bangladesh Power Management Institute (BPMI) Director (Training) Md. Rafiqul Islam and others.

This year's theme, 'Equity and Transformation': focuses on evaluation readiness in challenging times that will explore lessons learned from evaluations undertaken in difficult circumstances and examine innovative techniques and tools used by evaluators.

Planning Minister M.A Mannan, will be the Chief Guest in the main panel discussion. Members of BES, representatives of international organizations, NGOs and civil society organizations, academics will participate in the full-day event.
