The number of the first dose recipient citizens of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 59,97,332 with the inoculation of 45,547 more with the first dose of the jab on Thursday in Rangpur division.
“Among 45,547 new first dose recipients, 35,750 were inoculated with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 6,938 with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab and 2,859 Pfizer Covid-19 jab today,” Acting Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam told BSS at 7 pm.
The total first dose recipient 59,97,332 citizens include 15,78,594 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 42,63,861 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jab, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 vaccine and 23,028 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
Meanwhile, the number of the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine recipient citizens rose to 35,30,225 with inoculation of more 30,844 people with the second dose of the jab on Thursday in the division. Among the 30,844 new second dose recipient citizens, 9,284 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jab, 21,554 with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and six with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in the division on Thursday.
