55 youths get jobs in police

A total of 55 youths have qualified as Police constable in Narsingdi. Of them, 50 are male and 55 female.

The result of trainee constable recruits of this year has been announced on Thursday night.  District Police have selected only 55 youths among thousands of candidates. On the basis of merit and qualification, they were selected through an impartial selection processes.

SP of Narisingdi Mostafizur Rahman received these primary selected constable recruits in a programme in Narsingdi Police Lines on Friday. The nominated persons thanked the SP and the high officials. 

Sabbir Khan from Morjan village in Raipura area said that he has got the job only on the basis of merit. So, he hopes to work for the welfare of the nation.

Tanjina Akhter of Sahayprotab area said that it was her dream to be a cop. She had applied and was selected. As a girl she wants to be neutral and take care of her family as well as the country. 

Billal Hossain, father of Sharif from Borochapa village in Monohardi Upazila has emotionally expressed his satisfaction and said every one of his family is happy for his son’s job. They have spent only Tk 120. 

All the guardians and new recruits thanked Bangladesh Police. 

SP Narisingdi said, “There was cent percent impersiality and qualification based selection. We are very careful about discipline and fare in the selection from first to last. I will urge all the newcomers to work with honesty, sincerity and professionalism”.    

Officials of recruit Board from Headquarters of Bangladesh Police, Dhaka, selected the candidates. Guardians, journalists from press and print were present in the reception programme.  

According to District Police, only Tk 120 bank draft was needed for the application. After medical test trainees will be sent for training. 

The process began on March 8 for the post of constables. From six upazilas, 1842 persons applied primarily. From them, 498 were selected for written after physical test. 

Then, 101 came out successful in the written examination for viva. Finally, 55 were selected for final training and five were put on waiting list.
