No remission yet found in the district but infection of coronavirus is gradually increasing.
In the last 24 hours, according to the civil surgeon office report the figure of the district of total COVID-19 patients stands at 4979 with new 54 and survived from the infection 2471 people, while the death toll reaches 110 till on Saturday.
In an official brief, civil surgeon mentioned the ill-fated people area wise as 4 in Arihazar upazila, 3 in Bandar upazila, 60 in Narayanganj City Corporation area, 22 in Sadar (Fatulla+ Shiddhirganj) upazila and 13 in Sonargaon upazila.
Statistically this report comes forward to the people that both death and infection by COVID-19 as the lowest position in Bandar upazila and highest score in Narayanganj City Corporation area.
The health department collected samples 249 in last 24 hours and now it stands at 23,910.
It is mentionable that collecting sample and testing coronavirus infection was closed for seven days in Khanpur hospital due to unavailability of the testing kits.
