Narayanganj Civil Surgeon office prepared a total of 50 beds for quarantined treatment at Shayesta Khan Road in the city to provide treatment to the patient who will be infected by Coronavirus. Dr. Imtiaz Ahmed, civil surgeon of Narayanganj told the media that the new camp is ready to provide treatment. Earlier, we have two camps in the 300-bed hospital and 100-bed hospital.
The new quarantine camp set up in the newly constructed judicial complex building at its second and third floor. Two rooms already been declared isolated zone and prohibited to enter there of anybody. Among the three identified coronavirus patient two were in Narayanganj inhabitant who came home from Italy.
Civil surgeon alerted the Narayanganj inhabitants not to be panicky because two of the identified coronavirus patients out of three already have been released after treatment and the rest one is undergoing treatment.
Civil surgeon also added that the central IEECD department directed to them that if any found with symptoms of coronavirus, will be taken to the quarantine camp and treatment will be provided in an isolated condition.
