A mobile court of titas gas along with high officials in a drive on Tuesday day long at Borpa area of Rupganj pouroshova in the district disconnected five thousand illegal gas consumer connections.
The mobile court was operated by Rupganj upazila assistant commissioner (Land) and an executive magistrate Atikul Islam while the managing director engineer Harunur Roshid Mollah of titas gas, deputy manager of Sonargaon zone titas gas office Mohammad Suruj Alom and the member of law enforcers were present during the disconnection conduction raid.
After the disconnecting drive engineer Harunur Roshid Mollah, managing director of Titas gas brief the media mentioned that the government shows zero tolerance against the illegal gas consumers. He added that if any staff or officials have been involved with these irregularities the legal step to be taken against them.
Four officials of titas gas had already been suspended and a blacklist prepared of fifty four dishonest contractors of titas gas.
