The fourth founding anniversary of the Kidney Dialysis Complex of Noakhali 250-bed General Hospital was celebrated on Thursday.
A procession, discussion and presentation of annual report were organised on the occasion at the Kidney Dialysis Complex auditorium at 10 am on Thursday.
Initiator of the Kidney Dialysis Complex and Head of Kidney Department at Noakhali Abdul Malek Medical College Dr Fazle Elahi presided over the discussion.
Among others, Noakhali Abdul Malek Medical College Principal Professor Abdus Salam, Noakhali 250-bed General Hospital Supervisor Dr Helal Uddin, Civil Surgeon Dr Masum Iftekhar, Kidney Dialysis Unit Consultant Dr Shahadat Hossain Shibli and former general secretary of Noakhali Press Club Jamal Hossain Bishad participated in the discussion.
At this time the annual report was published in the Kidney Dialysis Complex. Head of the department Dr Fazle Elahi Khan said that so far 26,910 times dialysis, catheter of 400 people, renal biopsy of 5 people and AV fistula of 60 people have been done from the Kidney Dialysis Complex.
On the other hand, since its establishment, 1 crore 3 lakh 11 thousand 120 taka has been deposited in the state treasury from this complex, Dr Fazle Elahi added.
