A total of 49 more persons identified in Chandpur district as corona infected. Currently the total number of corona positive in Chadpur rises to 800. The Civil Surgeon’s Office revealed this information on Saturday.
According to the sources, 100 reports came on this day. Of these, 49 reports are positive. The rest are negative.
Of them, 15 from Matlab North, Haimchar, 6 from Hajiganj, 6 from Faridganj, 5 from Chandpur Sadar, 5 from Matlab South and 3 from Kachua. The death toll has risen to 3.
Of the new victims, Shamsul Haque (80) of Madrasa Road, Chandpur and Zakir Hossain(55) of Matlab North. Nityalal Sarkar(65) of Raipur village in Matlab North Islamabad Union, died of COVID 19 on Friday afternoon.
With this, the total death toll rises to 53. The current upazila-based statistics of 800 people affected by corona in Chandpur district is: 306 in Chandpur Sadar, 93 in Shahrasti, 84 in Matlab South, 83 in Hajiganj, 78 in Faridganj, 61 in Haimchar, 61 in Matlab North and 34 in Kachua.
The upazila-wise statistics of the total 53 deaths in the district is : 14 in Hajiganj, 14 in Chandpur Sadar, 8 in Matlab North, 6 in Faridganj, 5 in Kachua, 4 in Shahrasti and 2 in
Matlab South.
