The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the viva voce schedule for the 48th special BCS examination.
A total of 702 candidates have been called for viva in the first stage. Among them, 511 candidates are for the post of Assistant Dental Surgeon in the Health Cadre and 191 are for the post of Assistant Surgeon.
These candidates passed the MCQ-type written exam of the 48th BCS (Special) earlier this year.
The announcement was made through an official press release signed by PSC Examination Controller (Cadre) Masuma Afrin on Sunday.
According to the release, the detailed schedule for the viva examination has already been uploaded to the official websites of the Public Service Commission (www.bpsc.gov.bd) and Teletalk Bangladesh Limited (http://bpsc.teletalk.com.bd).
Candidates have been advised to visit the mentioned websites regularly for updates regarding the viva schedule and necessary instructions.
The release also mentioned that the commission holds the right to make changes or corrections to the schedule if necessary for valid and reasonable reasons.
The 48th special BCS was mainly organized to address the urgent recruitment needs in the country’s health sector. The Health Cadre positions in this BCS are aimed at strengthening medical services, especially at the grassroots level.
Earlier, the PSC completed the preliminary and written exams under special arrangements for this BCS due to the increased demand for healthcare professionals across the country.
Candidates are advised to prepare their required documents and follow all instructions given on the official notice to ensure smooth participation in the upcoming viva examination.
