The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC) has announced that the final results of the 44th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examination will be published on June 30.
A press release signed by PSC Public Relations Officer S M Motiur Rahman confirmed the date on Tuesday. The commission said it is working with top priority to complete the 44th BCS recruitment process quickly.
Earlier, in the circular for the 44th BCS, it was stated that a total of 1,710 officers would be recruited in different cadres. Among them, 250 will be appointed in the administration cadre, 50 in police, 10 in foreign affairs, 14 in Ansar, 30 in audit and accounts, 11 in taxation, eight in cooperatives, seven in railway transport and commerce, 10 in information, 23 in postal, six in commerce, 27 in family planning, three in food, 485 in technical, and 776 in the education cadre.
The 44th BCS preliminary exam saw a total of 3,50,716 candidates applying for various positions across the country.
Meanwhile, many candidates are eagerly waiting for the results as the process has reached its final stage. The PSC said all necessary procedures, including the viva voce and medical examinations, have already been completed, and now preparations for publishing the final merit list are underway.
The commission has also informed that the result will be available on the official PSC website once published. Earlier, the written resuls of the 44th BCS were published in December 2024.
