Some 44,617 more citizens were inoculated with the first dose of Covid-19 vaccine on Wednesday raising the total number of the first dose recipients to 82,24,366 in Rangpur division.
"Among the 44,617 new first dose recipients, 33,647 were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 65 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs and 10,905 others with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs today," said Divisional Director (Health) Dr Abu Md Zakirul Islam. The total first dose recipient 81,24,366 citizens include 26,41,900 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 51,85,213 people with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,31,849 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 2,65,404 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs.
Meanwhile, the number of the second dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine rose to 56,50,563 with inoculation of more 39,809 people with the second dose of the jabs today in the division. Among the 39,809 second dose recipient citizens, 9,604 people were inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 25,040 with Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine and 5,165 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine in the division on Wednesday.
The second dose recipient 56,50,563 citizens include 12,09,310 inoculated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs, 42,75,325 with Sinopharm Covid-19 jabs, 1,25,779 with Moderna Covid-19 jabs and 40,149 with Pfizer Covid-19 vaccine.
Besides, the number of the booster dose recipients of Covid-19 vaccine reached 29,232 people with the inoculation of 6,005 more citizens with the booster dose of the Covid-19 jabs today in the division. "The 29,232 booster dose recipients include 27,722 people vaccinated with AstraZeneca Covid-19 jabs and 1,510 with Pfizer Covid-19 jabs," Dr. Islam added.
