Dhaka metropolitan police (DMP) has detained 43 drug offenders in separate drives conducted in the capital on Sunday, reports BSS.
Teams of different police stations and detective branch (DB) conducted the drives from Sunday 6 am to Monday 6 am in the capital.
Police recovered 394 pieces of yaba tablets, 480 grams of heroin, 650 grams of ganja and 150 sedative injections from the possession of the detainees.
A total of 27 cases have been filed with concerned police stations in this regard.
