The preliminary examination of 42nd Special BCS was held to recruit 2,000 doctors (assistant surgeons).
Due to Corona, the preliminary examination started at 3 pm on Friday only at certain centers of the capital.
The Public Service Commission (PSC) issued the notification of the 42nd Special BCS on December 30, last year. More than 31,000 candidates applied for it. According to the PSC, the preliminary examination’s marks were 200 and the examination was held from 3 pm to 5 pm. However, the candidates had to report to the centers between 1 pm and 2:25 pm.
The seating arrangement of this preliminary examination was published in a circular signed by Nur Ahmed, Controller of Examinations of PSC on February 18.
