According to the press release, 14,687 samples were tested in 24 hours. From this 2,787 corona patients have been identified. So far 2 lakh 85 thousand 91 people have been identified.
It added that 41 new deaths had occurred in 24 hours. The death toll so far stood at 3,781. The total number of recovered patients, including 2913 new people, stands at 1 lakh 65 thousand 738 people.
The first case of coronavirus infection in the country was detected on March 8. Ten days later, on March 18, the first person died of the coronavirus.
