The final results of the 40th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) examinations under the Public Service Commission (PSC) were published on Wednesday.
A total of 1,963 candidates have been recommended provisionally for appointment to different cadre posts by the PSC, said a press release.
Among 10,964 candidates, who faced the viva-voce, 10,254 came out successful, added the release.
Some 8,166 successful candidates have been recommended for non-cadre posts subject to appointment based on vacancy.
