Mobile court drives are underway every day to ensure lockdown, social distance and quarantine in Lakshmipur. Conducting six raids at different places in Sadar, Raipur and Ramgati upazilas on Monday night and collected Tk 26,900 as fine from 40 different individuals and organizations in the district.
Raipur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sabrin Akhter, Ramgati Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdul Momin, Executive Magistrate Al Amin, Manija Khatun, Nilufa Yasmin Nipa and Akhter Jahan Sathi jointly conducted these drives.
It is important to note that corona virus infection is on the rise due to non-compliance with social distancing or maintaining at least three feet distance from each other. The only way to avoid this is to stay at home in accordance with social distance rule.
