4 held for spreading question paper leak rumours

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested four persons from different parts of the country on Monday for allegedly spreading rumours about SSC and equivalent examinations’ question paper leak, reports BSS.
RAB legal and media wing Senior Assistant Director Mizanur Rahman confirmed the matter.

The arrestees were detained from Rampura in capital, Gazipur and Khulna districts, the official said.
Earlier, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni said all coaching centres across the country would remain shut for a month from January 25 with the aim of preventing question paper leakage during the SSC and its equivalent examinations.

She said that government has taken strict surveillance measures to stop SSC question paper leakage.
The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations under 11 education boards began Monday across the country.
