1,282 samples were tested in Chattogram and 180 people were newly infected with corona in last 24 hours. A total of 49,905 people were affected while 4 people of Corona in the port city.
According to a report released by the Civil Surgeon's Office on Friday, samples were tested in nine labs in Chattogram with Cox's Bazar Medical College Lab. 53 people were identified by testing 212 samples in Chattogram University Lab. 341 samples were tested at Bangladesh Institute of Tropical and Infectious Diseases (BITID) and identified 23 people.
Corona virus found 5 people positive of 34 samples in Chattogram Medical College (CMC) lab.
Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU) lab tested 161 samples and identified 32 corona viruses.
13 people positive of 81 samples in Imperial Hospital Lab, 20 people positive of 306 samples in Chevron Clinical Laboratory, 10 people positive of 34 samples in Chattogram Mother and Child Hospital Lab, 21 people positive of 56 samplesin Regional TB Referral Laboratory (RTRL) of General Hospital, 3 people positive of 27 samples from Chattogram Medical College Lab were detected.
No samples were tested in the Medical Center Hospital Lab that day.
Civil Surgeon Dr Sheikh Fazle Rabbi said 1,282 samples were tested at Chattogramin 24 hours. 180 people have been affected. Among the new victims are 133 in the city and 47 in the upazila. 3 city dwellers died in Corona. A total of 520 people have died so far.
