A four-day Parbotto Mela will begin today on the open yard of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) in Segun Bagicha of the capital, reports BSS.
The Ministry of Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs is going to arrange the fair, aiming to introduce and promote the products of the small ethnic group so that they can attain self reliance, said an official handout. International Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister Dr Gowher Rizvi will inaugurate the fair as the chief guest with Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs Minister Bir Bahadur Ushwe Sing in the chair. A total of 100 stalls will be set up in the fair. The fair will remain open for all from 10 am to 10 pm every day.
