The two-day 3rd edition of Aesthetica Bangladesh 2025, organised by the Aesthetic Dermatology Society of Bangladesh (ADSB), concluded here on Sunday.
The international event featured a series of workshops, exhibitions, and conferences, attracting over 400 renowned dermatologists from 10 countries including Bangladesh, Thailand, Pakistan, Nepal, the Philippines, the UK, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, and Australia.
Following the success of its 2018 and 2022 editions, this year’s theme was “Ascending to New Heights”, reflecting the event’s focus on innovation and advancement in the field of aesthetic dermatology, according to a press release.
The first day of the event (July 26) featured various workshops conducted by international experts.
On July 27, the 3rd International Aesthetic Dermatology Conference was officially inaugurated by chief guest Dr. A.Z.M. Maidul Islam. Special guests included Dr. Nazmul Hossain and Dr. Md. Abu Zafar.
Also present at the event were ADSB’s General Secretary Dr. Jahanara Ferdous Khan Jumu, Organizing Secretary Dr. Matiur Rahman Chowdhury, Organizing President Dr. Imroz Mohit, Chief Patron Dr. M.U. Kabir Chowdhury, and ADSB President Dr. Sorkar Mahbub Ahmed Shamim, who delivered the vote of thanks.
The conference addressed a wide range of topics related to aesthetic dermatology, including: innovations, challenges and future directions in aesthetic practice; precision toxins—art and science; combination therapies, threads and complication management; mastering aesthetics; pigmentation management; sexual medicine; aesthetic devices (laser and beyond); hair restoration science, surgery, and solutions; as well as industrial sessions.
Organizers emphasized that this international platform plays a vital role in equipping Bangladeshi practitioners with global knowledge, advanced technologies, and best practices—helping make high-quality aesthetic care more accessible across the country.
