A total of 37,795 Covid-19 patients, out of total 49,628 infected people, have so far recovered in Sylhet division at the average healing rate of 76.15 percent.
The recovered patients include 25,408 of Sylhet, 4,247 of Sunamganj, 2,906 of Habiganj and 5,234 of Moulvibazar district in the division.
Meanwhile, 17 casualties were reported in the division during the last 24 hours ending Tuesday noon, raising the number of deaths to 919, said Dr Himangshu Lal Roy, director of Sylhet regional health division.
The district-wise break up of the 919 fatalities stands at 758 in Sylhet, 44 in Habiganj and 69 in Moulvibazar district.
However, the number of Covid-19 positive cases reached 49,628 with the diagnosis of 357 fresh cases in the division during the time, he said.
Among the total Covid-19 patients, 30,931 are in Sylhet, 5,675 in Sunamganj, 5,936 in Habiganj and 8,086 in Moulvibazar district.
