The 9 Armed Police Battalion of Chittagong has recovered 36 lost mobile phones from different police stations of the country. This rescue operation was carried out as part of the operation against lost mobile phones, bKash fraud, online fraud, cyber crime, and human trafficking through this battalion.
On Saturday, 9 Armed Police Battalion Commander (Additional DIG) Mohammad Shamsul Islam Akand handed over these mobile phones to the rightful owners. After getting the lost mobile phones back, they expressed their satisfaction and gratitude to the Armed Police for their service.
Shamsul Islam Akand said that 36 mobile phones were recovered from different areas of the country as per the lost GD and handed over to the rightful owners on September 18.
He said that since December 2022, 9 APBN Chittagong Division has been working with good reputation since it started operations against lost mobile phones, Bikash fraud, online fraud, cybercrime, and human trafficking. In the future, 9 APBN Police will continue to conduct cybercrime, counter-militancy, and human trafficking operations. The Armed Police Battalion is always committed to ensuring service and security.
