The number of administered Covid-19 jabs rose to three crore 32 lakh 77 thousand and 726 in Rangpur division with the inoculation of more 32,910 doses as the first, second and booster doses on Tuesday.
"Among the administered Covid-19 jabs on Tuesday, 28,712 doses were inoculated to the children aged 5-11 years of 80 primary level educational institutions as the first doses," said Divisional Deputy Director (Health) Dr Habibur Rahman.
So far, a total of 4,93,535 children aged 5-11 years of 1,571 primary level educational institutions were administered with the first dose of the Covid-19 jabs in the division.
Till Tuesday, a total of 1,41,47,506 people got the first doses of Covid-19 jabs, and of them, 1,32,54,594 got the second doses and 58,75,626 as the booster doses in the division.
Meanwhile, the total number of Covid-19 patients remained steady at 64,920 as no fresh Covid-19 cases were diagnosed after testing 64 new samples on Tuesday in the division.
The number of recovered Covid-19 patients remained steady at 63,579 as no more patients healed during the last 24 hours ending at 8 am today in the division.
"Besides, the number of casualties remained steady at 1,292 as no new death was reported during the last 24 hours," Dr Rahman added.
