300 poor people get blankets in Ishwardi

Three hundred uprooted poor people received blankets at the initiative of newly established ‘Abu Bakar Memorial Library’ in Ishwardi upazila of Pabna on Saturday afternoon. The blankets were distributed with the financial support of the family of the late Abu Bakar, a resident of Arankola area under Ishwardi municipality. A 

    discussion meeting was organized at Ishwardi Pulses Research Center auditorium on the occasion.

Pabna-4 MPNuruzzaman Biswas attended the programme as the chief guest while, Gazipur Agricultural Institute official Agriculturist Dr. Arifur Rahman presided over it. Ishwardi Police Station OC Sheikh Nasir Uddin, Pabna Zila Parishad Member Shafiul Alam Biswas and others also spoke at the time.

MP Nuruzzaman Biswas said not only one organization, but all wealthy people of the country should come forward to help the poor. Only then this country will become Bangabandhu's ‘Shonar Bangla’ one day.
