According to the decision of the Ministry of Railways, six trains including three new will run in the Eastern railway from August 16. Tickets for these trains have been issued online on Tuesday.
This present Subarna, Meghna and Udayan Express trains are running from Chittagong. Vijay Express, Mahanagar Express and Upakul Express trains will be added from August 16.
The Sonar Bangla Express train will also be launched later depending on the passengers.
Railway Chittagong Divisional Manager Sadekur Rahman said tickets for six trains would be issued online from Tuesday.
He said no standing tickets would be issued. A ticket will be sold for two seats in compliance with the hygiene rules.
