Three people were killed in a road accident in Bajitpur upazila on Thursday (12 March). It is reported that, the accident took place Madda Pirijpur area under Kishoreganj-Bhairab regional road in Bajitpur upazila of the district.
They were identified as Rakib (19) son of Habib Mia, Nur Amin (17) son of Nidhu Miah of village Madda Pirijpur under Bajitpur upazila and Nayan (20) son of Abu Kalam of village Motlobpur under Kishoreganj Sadar upazila of the district.
Locals said that the motorcyclists were passing the road. The motorbike collided with a truck and TomTom in the central Pirizpur area of Kishoreganj-Bhairab regional road. Rakib, Nur Amin, and Nayan died on the spot. After receiving the news, the police reached the spot and took the bodies to police station.
Bajitpur Police Station Sub-Inspector Jahangir confirmed this. Bodies sent to Kishoreganj 250 Bed General Hospital for autopsy.
