Three cattle thieves were caught by the people on Tuesday (June 30) morning under Pakundia upazila in Kishoreganj.
They were identified as Sohel (30) son of Shahidullah, Jahangir (28) son of Asad Master and Monir (27) son of Munsur of village Charfaradi under Pakundia Upazila of the district. At this time another cattle thief Alamin escaped.
It is learned that Sohel, Jahangir, Monir and fugitive Alamin are involved in buying and selling drugs in the area. Thieves were caught by the people on Tuesday morning while they were fleeing after stealing a cow. At this time Chan Mia's son Alamin escaped.
When the locals informed the Pakundia police station, the police came to the spot and brought the three thieves with the cow to the police station. Officer-in-charge of Pakundia Police Station Md. Mofizur Rahman confirmed the incident and said that a case was filed against them.
