Authorities concerned caught three people who appeared as proxy candidates in the viva of recruitment test for Health Assistant posts in Chattogram Civil Surgeon Office on Wednesday. They were handed over to Kotwali police station.
The detainees are Md Zainal Abedin Chowdhury, Md Zabed and Roni Dash.
According to Civil Surgeon sources, the candidates passed the written examination by changing their photos in the admit card. However, these fraudsters were caught due to the mismatch between the signatures of written and viva exams.
Confirming the matter to the media, District Health Supervisor of the Civil Surgeon's office Sujan Barua said that three people have been nabbed and handed over to the police as their behaviour in the viva board was suspicious when they came to take part in the examination for the post of Health Assistant.
