Three fresh corona patients have been identified in Chittagong city, as a result, now the total number of corona patients in Chittagong stands at 43. Besides, 1 new corona patient has been identified in Lakshmipur.
This information was revealed by Chittagong Divisional Health Director Dr. Hasan Shahriar Kabir after the BITID sample test at Fauzdarhat on Wednesday night. He said that after testing 165 samples, 4 people were found positive for corona virus. Among them 1 person aged 42 years in Lalkhan Bazar of Chittagong city and 1 person aged 42 years in Baluchara area.
A 29 year old doctor has been identified as infected with corona in Fatikchari upazila outside the city. Besides, a 32 year old corona patient has recently been identified in Laxmipur district. Incidentally, BITID has so far tested 1,885 samples. It identified 80 patients. Chittaong corona identified 43 people, 4 in Bandarban, 2 in Feni, 5 in Noakhali and 26 in Lakshmipur.
Chittagong district identified so far 43 corona patients, 27 are from the city and 16 from different upazilas. Five people including one child, tow women and two men died of corona infection.
