Three meritorious students of Mass Communication and Journalism department of Dhaka University (DU) have received 'Ali Riaz Research Trust Fund' Award.
DU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal was present as chief guest in the award giving ceremony on Wednesday at Professor Muzaffar Ahmed Chowdhury auditorium.
The awardees are: MSS student of 2020-21 academic year, Tamara Yasmin Tama, and MSS student of 2021-22 academic year, Nasimul Huda and Arthi Navnita.
Renowned professor of the Illinois State University of the United States of America and donor of the trust fund Ali Riyaz delivered his speech virtually with Chairman of the department of Mass Communication and Journalism Professor Dr. Abul Mansoor Ahmed in the chair.
VC Prof. Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal expressed his sincere thanks to the trust fund donor Professor Dr. Ali Riaz on behalf of the university administration for awarding the students.
