Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), in two separate anti-crime drives, arrested three alleged drug peddlers with 830 grams of heroin and 91 bottles of phensedyl here on Wednesday, reports BSS.
RAB sources said the arrested persons were identified as Abdul Mannan, 30, son of Montu Sheikh, Habibur Rahman, 37, son of late Moyen Uddin and Ajahar Ali, 28, son of Ansar Ali.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a raid in Biswanathpur area under Godagari Police Station in the district and arrested Abdul Mannan with 830 grams of heroin red-handed around 10.40 am.
