Three people were killed and three others injured in two separate road accidents in Chunarughat and Bahubol upazilas of the district on Sunday night. The deceased were identified as Johur Mia, 55, Nurul Amin, 35, and Bishal Urang, 20. Johur Mia and Nurul Amin were the residents in Putujuri area in Bahubal upazila while Bishal Urang was an inhabitant in Chunarughat upazila.
Johur Mia and Nurul Amin died as their pickup van turned in the Shewratuli area on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway last night. Johur Mia was declared dead at Bahubal upazila Health Complex whether Nurul Amin lost his breath on the way to MAG Osmani Medical College and Hospital, said Officer-in-Charge of Bahubal Thana Moshiur Rahman.
Besides, Bishal Urang was killed in a motorcycle accident at Gazi Bazar in Chunarughat upazila at around 2 am last night, said Officer-in-Charge of Chunrughat Thana Hillol Rai.
