Three youths were killed on Saturday night after being crushed by a truck in Bogura's Kahaloo upazila.
The accident occurred around 8 pm in front of Bogura Bhandar in Dargahat area on the Bogura-Naogaon highway under the upazila.
The deceased were Tarikul Islam, 22, Rakib Islam, 17, and Mizan, 18, residents of Dogachhi Chhaigharia village of the upazila.
According to police and locals, the three youths were going to Kazipara of the upazila riding on a motorcycle. When they reached in that area, a Naogaon-bound truck hit their motorcycle from behind and ran away.
Tarikul and Rakib died on the spot.
Later, fire service personnel rescued Mizan with serious injuries and rushed to Bogura Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital where he also died around 9 pm.
Kahaloo Police Station officer-in-charge Salim Reza confirmed the news.
