With the slogan of 'Sobai Mile Dibo Kor, Desh Hobe Swanirbhor’, a 3-day long Income Tax Fair-2019 has begun with the main thrust of inspiring the taxpayers in paying income tax spontaneously coupled with boosting the number of new more taxpayers in Sherpur on Friday.
ATM Ziaul Islam, deputy director of local government inaugurated the fair at the premises of District Income Tax office.
Emdadul Haque Khan, Assistant tax commissioner of Sherpur tax zone presided over the programme while Prof Sarwar Jahan of Sherpur Government College was present as the chief guest.
At that time, Municipal Mayor Golam Mohammad Kibria Liton, Highest taxpayer of the district Ilias Uddin, President of District Income Tax Committee Abdul Hakim Fakir along with others were also present.
