Police arrested three banned Awami League leaders from different places of Parbatipur upazila in Dinajpur district on Saturday night.
The arrested were identified as Majedur Hoque Shah, 39, son of Foizul Hoque, a resident of Ambari market area, Sohel Rana, 40, son of Abdur Rahman of Jabbarpara area and Rumon Babu, 30, son of Sahad Mondol of Bhabanipur area in the same upazila.
They were the activists of banned Awami League and its associate organisation.
Acting on a tip-off, a team of police conducted a drive at different place in the upazila and arrested them, said Parbatipur Model Police Station officer-in-charge (OC) Abdullah Al Mamun.
They were shown arrested in a case related to July Mass Uprising, the OC added.
