A fierce fire broke out on Tuesday night at Kanaipur Bazar Juta Potti in Faridpur Sadar upazila. It is assumed that the fire originated from the electric short circuit.
In this regard, Upazila Nirbahi Officer of the Sadar Upazila Md. Masum Reza said that 22 to 25 business establishments were burnt to ashes at Kanaipur Bazar in the upazila. Among which there were rice warehouses, footwear, cosmetics, hardware, electronics and drug stores.
